Queen Crape Myrtle also known as Pride of India, is a fast-growing, medium-sized, deciduous tree. It stands on an attractive spotted bark that often peels. Often planted for its brightly coloured mauve or pink flowers with crinkled petals.
Height : The tree usually grows 15 metres tall or more.
Light : Grows best in full sun.
Humidity : Requires moderate humidity.
Uses : It is a good shade tree, It is often planted in gardens, yards and parks, around parking lots, and along highways
