Areca palm (Dypsis lutescens)

The Areca Palm, or Dypsis lutescens also known as the Butterfly Palm, because of its arching yellowish-green fronds. The Areca palm is a fast-growing low maintenance plant.

Height : Grows up to 12 to 30 feet tall.
Light : Prefers bright, indirect light.
Humidity : Requires moderate humidity.
Uses : Widely planted in large gardens, parks. The areca palm is also used as an interior landscaping species. It is often used in large indoor areas such as malls and hotels.
